Frequently asked questions
How does the calculator work out the dates for each NIT?
DIAN due dates are assigned by the last digit of the NIT (the last two digits for individual income tax and the exogenous information return), without the verification digit. For example, NIT 900123456 ends in 6, so it follows the deadlines assigned to digit 6 in the tax calendar for that year.
Which tax forms does this calendar cover?
It covers form 350 (monthly withholding tax), form 300 (VAT return), form 110 (corporate income tax), form 210 (individual income tax), form 260 (annual Simple Tax Regime return) and receipt 2593 (bimonthly Simple Tax Regime advance payments).
Do all Simple Tax Regime taxpayers pay bimonthly advances?
No. Individuals under the Simple Tax Regime with prior-year gross income up to 3,500 UVT only file the annual return and are not required to make the bimonthly advance payments on receipt 2593 (paragraph 3 of article 910 of the Tax Code); companies always pay them.
Why did some July 2026 deadlines change?
Law 2578 of 2026 created the Our Lady of Chiquinquirá holiday (July 9), which in 2026 moved to Monday, July 13; that pushed July deadlines for digits 3 onward back one business day. The law faces a constitutional challenge; if it succeeds, it would change the calendars of later years, not the July 2026 dates.
Does exogenous information always follow the same date?
Not always. Resolution 000021 of 2026 sets extraordinary deadlines for some specific exogenous information formats, different from the general date shown by this calculator.
What obligations does this calculator NOT cover?
It does not cover large taxpayers, the wealth tax, the municipal industry and commerce tax (ICA), the financial transactions tax (GMF), the national consumption tax (INC, form 310), the foreign assets return (form 160), or the exogenous information filed by large taxpayers, which follow their own calendars.
What years does this calendar cover?
Only 2026 for now. Decree 2229 of 2023 sets deadlines in business days for 2024 onward; 2027 will be added once DIAN publishes its calendar.
