Overview

POS is not trying to be a full enterprise point of sale system — it replaces the spreadsheet you use to track daily sales. Sell at the counter even if the internet drops: sales are saved and sync themselves once the connection is back. Tables and open tabs do need a live connection.

It works on phone and tablet, and even without the Products module if your business only sells services. Charge with a card terminal (with its card fee), split payment across methods, add a tip, and apply a discount per product (as a percentage or as money per unit) or on the total; the discount on the total can be changed even after the sale was already charged. Any cashier can turn on the wholesale price for the whole sale, and if the chosen client is not wholesale yet, the system asks whether to make them wholesale too.

Each location can have several registers open at once, several salespeople can share the same register from their own devices, each salesperson sees the sales of the registers they worked in or recorded sales or payments in that day, separated by person (the admin sees everything), and closing the shift runs a cash count: it compares what should be there against what was counted and asks for a reason if it does not match. You log cash in and out during the shift, and every sale can carry an e-invoice and an attached receipt.

Scan barcodes with the camera, recognize variants, and even sell using stock from another location. If something goes wrong, there are returns, and you can change the payment method or the discount on a sale that was already charged.

When paying by transfer you pick the account that received it (several in a split payment too) and can attach the receipt as a photo or PDF, even without internet (picking it from the chat photos of the customer does need internet and an identified client); if you want, you make it mandatory. The account shows in the sale detail, the receipt, the cash closing and the history filter

Open tabs by table or by name, with modifiers, holding their stock until paid; when you open one, everything on it moves to the cart and you can change quantities and discounts, remove or add products before charging (removals and discounts are recorded in the activity log)
If an open tab is not paid the same day, move it to a layaway for a client and close the register without charging it (needs a connection)
Automatic wholesale price once the sale reaches the minimum, even without picking a client
Wholesale price by hand for the whole sale, with a switch any cashier can turn on: products with a wholesale price use it and the rest stay at the normal price; it also works on open tabs and without internet

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with receipt printers?

It prints PDF receipts from the browser: right after charging, or later with the «Receipts» button, which reprints the last one or any recent sale on the register.

Does it support multiple cashiers?

Yes. Each register has one drawer and one cash count, and several salespeople can use it at once, each from their own user and device: the first one opens it and the others join. Every sale stays under the name of whoever made it, and anyone on the register with permission to close it, or an admin, can close it.

Can it operate offline?

Yes, for counter sales: they are saved and sync themselves once the connection is back. Tables and open tabs do need a live connection.

Can I sell on credit?

Yes, if you turn it on: give a limit to the clients you choose, and you can charge part in cash and leave the rest on credit in the same sale. Payments toward the debt are registered in the POS or in the Credits tab in Clients, choosing whether they were cash, card or bank transfer; in the POS, only cash counts in the cash register count. The Credits tab shows what was bought and every movement. No interest, no automatic reminders.
