Renaska does not charge for or resell WhatsApp messages or templates: Meta bills them directly to your Meta Business account. AI replies and WhatsApp calls are billed separately, by usage.
Starting October 1, 2026, regular, non-template messages — which you can only send inside the 24-hour window — are free up to 1,000 per month per number; after that, Meta charges them at the same rate as utility templates. Marketing, utility and authentication templates are always billed, even inside the window. Exception: if the customer arrives via a Click-to-WhatsApp ad or your Facebook Page button and you reply within 24 hours, everything you send them during the following 72 hours is free.
Third-party reports mention that Meta paused marketing template delivery to +1 (US) numbers starting April 2025, but developers.facebook.com does not confirm this on any of its official pages. If you sell into that market, check directly with your Meta representative before planning a campaign.
Meta lowers the utility and authentication rate if you send a lot of messages in a month to the same market (volume tiers), and charges an extra authentication fee in some countries when the message reaches a number in a different country than yours (international authentication rate). This calculator always uses the base rate, without those adjustments: check Meta's official rate sheet for your exact case.
Because it is not a conversion: they are two separate official tables Meta publishes, one per currency. Meta bills you in whichever currency you set up for your WhatsApp Business account, so this calculator simply shows the official table for that currency, with no exchange rate involved.
