EAN-13 is the standard retail barcode: 13 digits with a check digit that is computed for you. Code 128 accepts letters, numbers and symbols (up to about 17–18 characters, or 34–36 digits, depending on the sheet), useful for internal references. QR stores any text or link up to 100 characters and is read with a phone camera, not a laser scanner.
Pick the sheet that matches your paper: Letter 3x10 (Avery 5160), A4 3x7 (L7160) or A4 3x8 (L7159). When printing the PDF, turn off "fit to page" and print at 100% scale; any other value shifts the labels off the die-cut lines.
Yes. Write one label per line as code;name;price (name and price are optional) and set how many copies you want of each line; the total cannot exceed 1,500 labels per PDF.
It could be an invalid code for the chosen code type (for example, an EAN-13 with the wrong check digit), a price that is not recognized, or a code too long for the chosen label size: switch to a sheet with bigger labels or shorten the code.
No. The PDF is generated entirely in your browser with JavaScript; nothing you type ever leaves your device or gets saved anywhere. If you open it from the built-in browser inside Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, the download may fail: open it in Safari or Chrome instead. Characters outside the PDF's standard Western alphabet show up as "?".
