Both ends of the range are counted. If your deadline starts the day after the start date, subtract one from the result.
They combine fixed dates that stay the same every year, holidays the Emiliani Law moves to the following Monday when they do not fall on one, and holidays that depend on that year’s Easter date, calculated with the standard ecclesiastical algorithm. The total count can vary from year to year when two holidays land on the same date.
It counts both ends of the range, Monday through Friday and excluding holidays (Saturdays only count if you turn that option on). If your legal deadline starts the day after the start date instead of that same day, subtract one from the result.
Not by default. Turn on the "Saturday is a business day" switch if your business operates on Saturdays; a Saturday that is also a holiday never counts as a business day, whether or not that option is on.

It is a new national holiday since 2026 (Law 2578 of 2026) that faces a pending challenge before Colombia’s Constitutional Court; if the Court strikes it down, it will be removed from the calendar.
